Like many of us, I’ve been on a lifelong journey to find meaning and purpose.  For me, that journey started when I was 13, and I picked up my first X-Men comic. I fell in love with the vivid art, the complex characters, and the powerful, epic stories they told.  That passion eventually led me to own and manage my own comic book and board game store for four years, solidifying my belief that the art of storytelling and a love for complex, visual worlds could create powerful connections.

In the fall of 2019, my world shifted when a good friend introduced me to tarot.  As a fan of the spiritual and mystical arts, it was an immediate and profound new passion.  I quickly amassed over 60 different decks, but I noticed a recurring challenge: while I loved the traditional decks, my friend and I both found ourselves struggling to connect their ancient symbols to our everyday lives.  At the same time, I searched for a deck in the bold, detailed comic book style I loved so much, but couldn't find one that resonated.

This is when the idea for the Practical Everyday Tarot was born—a deck designed to be a bridge.  It’s a project that combines my Virgo practicality with my Aquarius creativity.  What began as a personal passion project soon received so many positive comments that I felt a compelling need to share it. My hope is that it helps others, just like my friend and me, find profound wisdom in the triumphs and challenges we face every single day.
